18 Freelance Writing Job Leads for August 7, 2017

Just an observation about this week’s listings — I’m seeing more gigs that pay by the word. Many freelance writing jobs — especially online writing jobs — tend to pay by the project/piece/post. You can earn more or less when gigs pay by the word, so be sure to do your calculations to make sure that the pay rate works for you.

Also, make sure that there aren’t extra add-ons, eg, sourcing photos to go with the content, that reduce your overall per-word rate (unless they’re paying separately for this). Now, to this week’s listings …

This is a full-time telecommuting position offering competitive salary and benefits. Occasional travel required.
