Even though Christmas is exactly one week away, there is still work to be done, as today’s list of freelance writing jobs highlights. So even if you only respond to one or two listings per day, whatever you do, don’t stop marketing.

1. Health & Science Writers: We are building a dynamic team of health/science writers to generate quality content for a growing dental industry newsroom, working: in print, online, with video, and via podcast.

We’re looking for two types of reporters/writers. 1. Indiviuals with a talent for profiling story subjects and writing compelling trend articles. 2. Individuals who can spot and report cutting-edge, significant scientific studies, new technologies, and new procedures. If you can also file video or audio content, or take professional photos, great. We foresee most articles running 500 words or less. However, we will have need for some long-form features running 1,500 to 2,500 words in length.

2. Technical Writer: If you are an information development / technical writer professional who is willing to embrace a bold new way of approaching user content, this may be a perfect fit. 3. Copy Editor/fact checker: BioNews Services, an online publisher of original articles covering scientific news and developments in chronic and often rare diseases, is looking to hire experienced copy editors to work remotely, Monday to Friday, at home as freelancers.

Editors with prior journalism experience are preferred, as we are a news service and work in a news journalism style. We cover results of clinical trials, new and investigative therapies, and other developments in diseases ranging from multiple sclerosis to epidermolysis bullosa.

The writing can be highly scientific, but the copy editors need not be. Our readers are patients, caregivers and family or friends — not scientists — and the copy editor’s job is make sure these articles are understandable to readers.

We publish career advice and other relevant articles daily, and we send out multiple email newsletters per week. If you’re an editor and writer who’s interested in improving the world and workplace for women, this job is for you.

Editing articles from our contributing writers (sometimes optimizing for SEO) and working in our content management system to upload and schedule articles for publication; writing and uploading/publishing your articles. Topics will largely be assigned, although pitches are also welcome. Many articles may need to be written/optimized for SEO.

5. Freelance Technical Blogger: We have an associated blog where we discuss topics of interest to our audiences that help them stay informed professionally. Their audiences include AWS Cloud teams, Analytics teams, development teams, testing teams and release management teams.

We are looking for SME blog writers who know what it takes to get an application from development through production. They should have experience in at least one of various roles across the application lifecycle, including Cloud Engineers, Data Science Engineers, developers, testers, DevOps engineers and release engineers. They will be responsible for writing interesting and engaging blogs on a monthly basis of 600-1200 words, and have the ability to come up with original, relevant and timely topics.

Freelance Content Editor (Natural Health): I’m looking for a content editor to proof/edit articles, ebooks and video scripts fixing up any grammar, spelling mistakes, flow etc. I’m looking for somebody who is available for regular work (2-3 hours per week) and can get things done within 24-48 hours as this is a long-term project.

You’ll be expected to at least respond to new tasks with an indication of when you’ll be able to complete the work when new work is given to you. We use Trello for task management, Slack for communication and Google Docs for content so you need to have experience with all three.

My courses are about copywriting. I will give you a course title and a description of the goals of the course (what students will learn). I will give you a detailed outline.
