Making Money Online: How to Find a Profitable Niche & Dominate It

April 23, 2010

Today’s “Freelance Friday Tip” gives you some insight on how to find profitable niche markets to focus on for your online business.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a freelance writer, an affiliate marketer or minisite publisher, “nicheing it to success” makes it easier to make money online.   The reason is, the web is so crowded these days — and getting more so every day. Hence, it’s hard to make money online by being a generalist. You almost have to niche it to success.

“But,” you may be thinking, “how do I find  a profitable niche? Where do I start looking and using what parameters?”

FYI, once you find a niche, if you combine that with your SEO writing skill, you can pretty easily start making money online. In fact, it’s exactly how I make $100-$150 day in affiliate income.

I’m one of the dominate players in the foreclosure cleanup market, as I talked about in Wednesday’s Se0WritingJobs.com post, SEO Help: Niche Domination — How to Get on the Front Page of Google without Spending a Dime.   Well, the tip today tells you exactly how to do that.

It may be the most important piece of business research you do when it comes to making money online.   Here’s how to learn how to find a profitable online niche.
