What Is Organic Traffic?
In case you’re not familiar with this SEO terminology, organic traffic is website traffic that you don’t pay for. For example, pay-per-click ads are paid-for traffic (see graphic below).
Those (blue) links that appear when you type in a search term (ie, keyword phrase) is what appears in the middle of the page.
Before giving you the link to click over to her site, I just wanted to point out that the information I gave in the interview is applicable no matter what type of online business you’re running. You see, getting more web traffic from search engines is all about doing the concrete things – consistently – that search giants like Google tell you they pay attention to.
There is no big secret to search engine optimization (SEO) and it’s not hard at all once you learn the fundamentals.
