1. Freelance Writer: We are looking for writers with a background in the Robotics Processing Automation space. If you have experience, our client that would like to see some writing samples. Weekly/monthly assignments.

2. Tech Writers Needed: Seeking writers who are EXPERTS in the Software/Micro-Services/Software Development space. 3. Science Educational/Technical Writer: Karyote is a small company that makes video games aimed at middle and high school students, teaching science and math.

We are seeking a writer to write grants for federal and private funding for educational video games. Additionally, they will write educational articles about biology.

Rate: $40,000 to $65,000/year + 1.5% commission on funded grants. Note: This is a FT position, but it doesn’t state whether or not you have to be on-site.

FYI, here’s why freelance writers should never hesitate to apply for full-time positions.

4. Travel Writer: Avalon Travel is seeking a professional writer to write and update the Moon Oregon Trail Road Trip guidebook.

Rate: AT writers are compensated with an advance and royalty.

5. Freelance Proofreader:  S&P Global Market Intelligence, a McGraw-Hill Financial business, is an innovative and rapidly-growing provider of integrated financial information and technology solutions. The Transcripts department is responsible for creating publication-quality transcription of teleconferences and webcasts of corporate earnings calls.

On a rush basis, the proofer will be responsible for correcting any errors remaining from the editing cycle primarily terminology, numbers, and personnel. The proofer may also be required to do internet research to validate this information.

Rate: Pay is calculated off a base rate of $20/hour.

6. Freelance Wedding Writers: Weddingbee.com is in search of fresh writing talent. If you have wedding planning experience, professional experience, or a good interest in all things related to weddings and marriage, we’d love to hear from you!

Rate: $25 per article.

7. Freelance Health & Fitness Writer/Blogger: We are a growing web design agency seeking a talented writer to join us on a freelance basis. Our client is a health and nutrition coach.

Your main task will be to write for her blog and create social media posts to promote the articles. We might also ask you to write e-books, case studies, and new pages on her website. SEO knowledge preferred.

Rate: $20 per page (500 words).

8. Freelance Hospitality Writer: We are a growing web design agency seeking a talented hospitality writer to join us. You will help us to create content for hotels and for our website. We’re looking for an accomplished, highly skilled content producer who can write across multiple distribution channels–but with a priority on web, eBooks, blogs, digital magazine, digital ads, digital campaigns, and case studies.

Note: This is a full-time position, but it’s the exact type of gig I advise freelance writers to apply for because if there’s tons of work and you have the exact skill set they’re looking for, you have a good chance of some work being thrown your way at some point in time.

11. Content Writer: You will be responsible for the creation of content marketing materials from blog posts to guides to success stories. This role requires a broad understanding of what tools and tactics are necessary for government to build meaningful connections with citizens. 16. Lots of Online Writers Needed: Seeking writers who know how to write various types of online content, eg, web copy, blog posts, affiliate style content, etc.  You will be given instructions and examples for them but you must be comfortable writing these types of content.  Typical assignments range from 1000-5000 words typically broken into smaller individual pieces and would cover a variety of topics.

This is a LONG-TERM role as our client is seeking to push out potentially multiple ebooks, PDFs, video course, etc. per month. We are looking for ONE writer to handle all of this so you must have at least 10-20 hours per week to dedicate to this.

21. Mini Ecourse Writer (Marketing/Business): We are looking for a writer that is very familiar with marketing and business concepts and is able to research and write guides courses for our readers. The mini courses will be feature different aspects of marketing, business and startups as well as self development and productivity. Courses will be about 1200 words.
