Freelance Writing Job Leads for May 22, 2017

Following are 20 freelance writing jobs leads to start off this week. Many of them want on-going content, a running theme I find in a lot of freelance job listings these days. FYI, when I select jobs, I try to select those that have this component because it cuts down on the amount of marketing you have to do.

In my experience, in the beginning of your freelance writing career, marketing will (should) take up about 80 percent of your time once you have done all the behind the scenes stuff you need to do to get set up: ie, produce writing samples, get a website, figure out your niche and set your pricing.

3 Things I’ve Noticed that Land Steady Freelance Writing Clients

Landing five or six steady clients (here are 3 tips) who pay well, along with those one-off jobs that always come along, will give you a very nice income. It doesn’t mean you should stop marketing (this should ALWAYS be a part of your freelance business model), but it’ll make the dry spells fewer and farther in between, without killing yourself wondering where your next job will come from.

Now, to today’s leads …
