Now that I&#039;ve got internet in my apt here in Jamaica, I&#039;m saving a lot of money b/c I&#039;m home a lot more, hence no need to spend money on eating out, etc. -- at least until the weekend, when I tend to loosen the purse strings.

Although there are certainly advantages for an American freelance writer being in the same time zone as the US, you could come to China (where I live), or other parts of Asia, and cover all your living expenses by teaching English. Your expenses are low -- as long as you&#039;re not living in Hong Kong or Tokyo! -- and then you have lots of time to write, and many things to write about.</description>
